I originally learned about QuickTime way back when the internet was still new and just starting to pop out at us. This was way back in the mid to late 1990s. If you played Nintendo games, it would be the year 199X. Back then, you had to have Quicktime to see some of the neat videos online. Almost all the movie previews were in Quicktime format.
However, time has moved on, and Quicktime has been largely replaced, mostly by MP4s. But even if that is not enough reason for you to kick your Quicktime habit, here are a couple more. Yes, Quicktime is no longer supported and will be hacked soonish. Avoid being hacked. Uninstall Quicktime before it’s too late.
