The classic Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla came on TV tonight as part of Comet TV’s “Monster Summer” event, which shows different Kaiju (Giant-monster) movies every Sunday night, and it was great. Godzilla became oddly magnetic, to keep the giant robot Mechagodzilla from escaping. Magnificent. Especially the final defeat of Mechagodzilla. You know that had to leave a mark! Godzilla was definitely feeling the pain, but he prevailed, of course.
